There is no rail station in the area record. Angkot, buses, taxis and ride hailing cover the practical trips, while walking works for central errands if the pavement and crossing are tolerable. Riau and the nearby central roads are congestion sensitive, so centrality should not be mistaken for quick driving.

Bandung Wetan suits a professional, couple or family who wants established central surroundings and can manage without a garden. It is also a sensible base for people who want access to the civic and shopping core but prefer a residential lane to a heritage tourism frontage. Car dependent households should inspect parking before falling for the location.

Yes, in a house or low rise home set back from the busiest road. Bandung Wetan offers more ordinary daily life than its landmarks suggest, but the best addresses are chosen by block, not by proximity to Gedung Sate.
