It is not the place I would choose to make a first arrival feel effortless. There is no single obvious public heart in which to learn the city by walking. The reward comes later, once you know which shop, shortcut and road actually belong to your routine. For the right resident that is perfectly adequate. For the wrong one, it can feel like a collection of destinations with no neighbourhood in between.
The most useful viewing is therefore a deliberately boring one. Do the school or work route, buy something small, return in the direction you would use in the evening and see how the property sits within that circuit. Ask whether a visitor can park without blocking the entrance and whether a second driver would have the same easy route. Lambak Kanan does not need a grand narrative to work.
