Tân Cảng is a central-eastern riverside corridor where older local streets, office towers, large apartment developments and Metro Line 1 access sit close together. Landmark projects such as Vinhomes Central Park have made the area familiar to international renters, but the surrounding city remains varied.
Its position between Bình Thạnh, the river and District 1 is the main attraction. The trade-off is traffic, construction and a sometimes abrupt shift between managed compounds and ordinary streets.
