The short version
Linh Dam is a large planned apartment enclave around a lake. Its quantity of housing and established services can be useful for families and younger households, but density and access roads define the experience more than the water does.
Life is easiest when work, school and shopping stay close to the estate. Leaving at peak time is the test. Walk the approaches, inspect parking and ask how the building deals with deliveries, lifts and rain. The lake provides a visible centre, yet the surrounding roads can make short journeys feel longer than the map suggests.
Linh Dam is a rational choice for space and local convenience. I would live there if my routine fitted the enclave, but not as a supposedly central base.
