Beach frontage versus inland streets
The coastal road and the apartment lanes behind it are different environments. Frontage streets are busier and more visitor-facing; inland lanes can feel more local but vary in width, drainage, parking and building quality. A listing’s beach name does not tell you which side of the belt you will actually live in.
Transport in practice
Buses are available on selected corridors and should be checked in the official DanaBus lookup before relying on them. For many households, walking, bicycles, motorbikes, taxis and e-hailing remain the practical mix. Crossing the main coastal roads is part of the daily test, especially if work is west of the Han.
What to inspect
Look at the lane after rain, ask about building maintenance and check whether a “sea view” also means wind, salt and road noise. Confirm parking, power backup, water pressure and construction next door. The beach is a public landscape, not an extension of the apartment’s usable space.
Would I live here?
Yes, if I wanted beach access and accepted a busier, more transient setting. I would choose a quieter inland lane and inspect the exact building before treating the area name as a recommendation.
